Overview

Big Brainers' Science lessons will allow the student to dive much deeper into science topics, as that is what is needed for many of the most prestigious science competitions. These lessons are not like other tutoring classes we offer, because we will cover topics more in-depth than what schools generally teach. Your child will learn many skills, including critical thinking, analyzing, researching, decisiveness, and communication.

Groupings

Acadmeic Science Group 1

Students from ages 6 to 8
Basic elementary level topics:
- Earth Science
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
- Other topics the student wants to learn
Fun learning

Academic Science Group 2

Students from ages 9 to 14
In-depth learning, including advanced concepts of:
- Earth Science
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
- Other topics the student wants to learn
Involves more in-depth and quicker paced learning for success in school and beyond

Competitive Science

Requirement: Prospective students MUST be entering grades 7+ for the 2021-22 academic year
Specialized and advanced concepts of:
- Chemistry
- Biology
Helps students prepare for prestigious science competitions including:
- US National Chemistry Olympiad
- USA Biology Olympiad
- National Science Bowl

Materials Needed

Notebook and pencil to work on questions and concepts and take guided notes
